in which the young Starfire learns about posting to HER blog

Wow, the upper year students who told me that the mountain of work I received at the beginning of the term was a molehill in relation to what was to come really weren't kidding. My days basically consist of getting up, eating breakfast while reading, going to class, walking from class to class while reading, having lunch while reading, more classes, and finally dinner while trying to write assignments. And then I sleep...sweet, glorious sleep

I'm doing well, though, so that should be reward enough...but I feel so terrible that I've had to neglect the other Ravvies and Knitting Club in favour of marathon sessions at the library. (Speaking of marathons, Olive is running in a real muggle one this weekend--what an inspiration!)

Loads of yarn has been flying my way via owl, which is always nice. Sometimes I like just to sit and touch it...for about fifteen seconds and then I remember all of the other things I should be doing! Arithmancy is particularly killer. I get there in the end, but my goodness does it ever take a long time.

Quidditch was especially bad this week. I am so bad at it that I can't help but feel that I let the whole house down. I really admire how well Ravenclaw worked together this time, though. I love being part of this house and having such a tremendous group of women for support.

You know what? I think that next week, I will let school slide and go to the knitting club. I deserve it--we all do.
